has been in the software business for a long time and we’ve seen many waves of technology come and go. DataViz is different by always focusing on making YOU more effective.ĭataViz, Inc. The enterprise and team focus makes it harder to use apps for both your work and home lives. But, the downside is that their apps lose the focus on making individuals’ lives easier. This is an easier way to make money (and pay back investors) since it is very difficult to create apps that end users find compelling enough to pay for. Many app creators also start off focused on the end user but slowly get enticed to shift to “enterprise” apps. DataViz’s focus on regular people means that we evaluate features by asking the question: Will this really make life easier? These features are usually interesting and fun to implement, but often don’t really help end users improve their lives. Most app creators spend a lot of time adding bells and whistles and are quick to implement cool new OS features. Instead, we look to make our products help you get stuff done and then get out of your way. This means that we don’t attempt to stay up with the latest trends and “hot new” features that device manufacturers attempt to push as must haves. Our focus is to help regular people who are looking for their devices to make things easier rather than creating more distractions. We strive to help busy people feel more in control with solutions that get the most benefit out of their computers, phones and tablets. The 2023 finalists have been announced!
